Lovely Graduation Announcements - Charlotte, NC Senior Photography

Morgan's senior photos were the perfect addition to a fun and modern custom graduation announcement.

The vibrant colors just popped off of the shimmery pearl cardstock! Here are some sample photos of the actual printed cards. The coral color in her skirt made the perfect accent color to use in the card design.

Amy, Bridals - Gastonia, NC Wedding Photographer

I met Amy through a mutual friend and was so excited that she wanted me to photograph her bridal session and wedding, but unfortunately her wedding date fell just a little too close to my due date for comfort, especially with my history of going into labor early. I helped Amy to find another local photographer who was a good fit for her to shoot the wedding and was honored that Amy still wanted me to do her bridal photos.
Amy was just beyond stunning with her fitted lace dress and lace headpiece.

She had also had an amazing "bouquet" made from vintage brooches which added the perfect amount of detail to her wedding day look.

After talking about possible locations for the session, Amy told me that she knew of the perfect spot. She had a family friend with a beautiful home that we could use. The location was indeed amazing, with a variety of beautiful vignettes around the property.

Both the setting and the bride to be were just gorgeous!

Thank you, Amy, for giving me the opportunity to capture such a wonderful time in your life! I am so honored to have been even a small part in your big day!

Stickers! - Concord, NC Sports Photograper

Before Dillon's second race, our wonderful friend Todd Davis designed and applied some awesome stickers for us. It completely changed the look of the car and now I think it really looks like a race car.

The car is a "Bulldog" chassis from Robbie Stanley Racing and Dillon just loves the bulldog stickers and shirt that came with it.

Time to go racing again! I think we're hooked!

Morgan - Charlotte, NC Senior Photographer

This year I had the pleasure of photographing one of my gorgeous nieces for her senior portrait session.

My husband's family has a cabin up in the mountains of Virginia with beautiful scenic views and sweeping grassy fields. It made the perfect backdrop for this self-proclaimed "country girl."
She picked two different looks for her photo session, one casual with jeans and a flowy top and then also a more formal dress. She looked fantastic in both!
I was also able to use that fabulous coral color from the skirt of the dress as an accent on her graduation announcements.

Congrats, Morgan! I am so happy that I was able to be part of this special time in your life!

Blue or Pink? - Lake Wylie, SC Maternity Photographer

Blue or pink, what do you think? I gave Dillon a gift bag that contained an outfit that would tell him if he would be getting a brother or a sister.

GIRL! :-D

Let's Go Racing, Boys (and Girls)! - Salisbury, NC Sports Photography

My little guy turned 5 and was officially old enough to race his quarter midget (we did our "Rookie Training" earlier in the year when he was 4 and a half to learn how everything works) so we headed to the North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) track for his first race.

It's amazing to me to watch these little cars buzzing around the track and realize that all the drivers are kids! Dillon is the black #4 in these photos.

Dillon did great and we all had fun! Can't wait for the next race!

Whimsical Birth Announcements - Belmont, NC Newborn Photographer

I love creating custom products for my clients! Here's an example of a whimsical birth announcement for the beautiful baby girl I photographed recently. The vibrant, girly colors looked amazing printed on a shimmery, pearl card stock.

Note: Personal information on announcement was changed to protect my clients.

Summer Sibling Session - Clover, SC Child Photography

Ah, summer! The perfect chance to throw down a blanket near the wild flowers and have a picnic....or a photo session! Check out this adorable big sister and baby brother!

What a cutie! This little guy had the most beautiful big blue eyes and he definitely knew how to bat those eye lashes. Girls of the future, watch out! :-)

He's so lucky to have a loving big sis, too! You can tell she will do a great job watching over her little brother as they grow up.

School Picture Time & an Announcement - Lake Wylie, SC Children's Photographer

Today was school picture day for my son. He looked so cute when he came home, that I just had to take him outside for a little mini photo session.
I just love that big smile and those bright blue eyes! This little guy looks so much like his daddy that it's scary sometimes! :-)
Oh and we also have a little family announcement to make, so after a quick outfit change we took a few photos to help tell the rest of the world our big news!
A new baby brother or sister is on the way! :-D
